Revolutionizing Industrial Wastewater
HALT can be integrated with several wastewater treatment processes to provide a permanent, on-site destruction solution for any PFAS present in industrial discharge.

Membrane Filtration

Reverse osmosis (RO) or nanofiltration (NF) membranes are effective at removing PFAS from wastewater, but both produce a concentrated reject stream that must be treated. The RO reject can be challenging to manage due to high salinity and high PFAS levels.

The HALT process enables direct treatment of RO or NF concentrate for meeting discharge targets.

Regenerable Ion-Exchange Resins

Regenerable ion exchange resins (IXR) can effectively capture most PFAS, and can be regenerated for long-term re-use of the IXR material. However, regeneration produces a highly concentrated brine which requires secondary treatment and disposal

The HALT process enables direct treatment of IXR regeneration brine to meet discharge targets.
